SpyZooka’s Duplicate File Finder helps you free up valuable disk space by identifying and removing exact copies of files across your computer. It’s especially useful for organizing cluttered folders, improving system performance, and eliminating unnecessary duplicates—without risking your original files.

How does it work?

The Duplicate File Finder scans selected drives for identical files based on file content, not just file names. You have full control over what files to include or exclude from the scan.

Customization Options

SpyZooka provides several filters to help you target only the files that matter:

  • Ignore files under (MB)
Skip scanning small files that are unlikely to impact storage. You can enter a custom minimum size in megabytes.

  • Ignore files over (MB)
Avoid scanning large files (e.g., videos or archives) by setting an upper size limit.

  • Ignore file name
Enter specific file names (or partial matches) that you don’t want to include in the duplicate search. Great for keeping backup or versioned files untouched.

Keep Newest or Oldest?

By default, SpyZooka keeps the newest version of any duplicate files it finds. However, you can easily switch to keep oldest if you prefer retaining the original version.

Drive Selection

You can select which drives to scan for duplicates. The default is Drive C: (your main Windows installation), but you can choose any connected internal or external drive as needed.

Performance Benefits

Removing duplicate files can:

  • Free up gigabytes of storage

  • Reduce clutter in folders and file explorers

  • Improve system indexing and search performance

Is it safe?

Yes. SpyZooka only removes confirmed duplicates and never touches critical system files. You also get to review all duplicates before deletion, so nothing is removed without your approval.
